It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

What She Hid In One Of Her Kitchen Drawers Is A Must-Have!!

IN-DRAWER PAPER TOWEL HOLDER

This genius idea serves you in the kitchen in so many ways!

You don’t need to have your paper towels on the counter OR under the sink where you probably have a trash can.  They are easily accessible to anyone no matter if someone is at the sink working, too.

You will have to do a Home Depot run to execute this but you will be thank fun that you did!

According to addictedtodecorating, here is how she executed it:

First a 1-inch dowel rod.  In one end, I screwed a neodymium magnet onto it.  t Home Depot I found some that had a hole in the middle just the right size for a screw to fit through.

On the other end, I screwed on two washers  — a larger one to keep the smaller one from going through the hole in the side of the drawer, and the smaller one so that I could use a screw to hold them on.

Using my 1 1/8-inch spade bit, I drilled a hole in each side of the drawer.

The end with the two washers screwed into it keeps the dowel from sliding through the hole.

The other end, I hot glued two washers together, and then stuck them to the end of the dowel that has the super strong neodymium magnet attached to it.

Thank you so much to addicted2decorating for this awesome idea and tutorial.  Definitely see her site for more images of this process if you plan on doing this project.
