It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

The Chair Was In Great Shape But The Seat Was A Mess! How She Fixed It? Amazing!

Chairs are a wonderful refinishing project.  If they have an upholstered seat, that is an easy fix with some scrap fabric and a staple gun, and if the seat is a woven type, you can refinish that, too!

You can see in the BEFORE pic that the seat is unsalvageable.

So, the fine folks over at myrepurposedlife used an old drop cloth to quickly weave a new one.  Such a cool idea!

The AFTER is so charming:

To replicate this, you will need to see what is going on underneath.  Head over to myrepurposedlife for the exact how-to’s.  The reveal it all over there.

Have you ever refinished a seat in a clever way?
