Perhaps you have seen these wooden tree rounds at the craft store but never knew what to do with them.
Well here is your answer.
You can make personal wall messages or pictures that can be hung up and enjoyed by everyone.
Materials:
- burner
- Wood round
- pencil
- picture hanger
- foam brush and polyurethane (optional but recommended to seal the bark and get less chipping)
Directions:
1. Put a coat of polyurethane on the wood using the foam brush (optional step).
2. Use a ruler to sketch out the lines so your message will be straight and then write in your message, then go over it with the burner:
3. That’s all! Add the hook on the back and it’s a nice touch to initial and date the back with the burner as well.
You can keep it to just a message or do a drawing, too.
