One of the problems we have is that the washer starts to smell kind of funky. When this happens, I clean out any gunk that has accumulated in the rubber parts of the door and wipe it down but I learned something about mouthwash in they video that has helped more than anything.

Just use a cup of white vinegar in your towels. It will take the smell out of the towels and the machine and it’s cheaper than mouthwash.
Baking soda added to cycle helps also.
