It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

DIY Excellent Health With This Essential (and EASY) Daily Habit!

The most important DIY of all is TAKING CARE OF YOUR OWN HEALTH!

If you are not familiar with Vani, the “Food Babe”, you should be, because she will help you to take care of your health in simple, doable ways that really make a difference.

Among her recommended habits for daily health is her first and foremost-drinking LEMON WATER.

This is an easy habit to get into your daily life, people!

There are many great effects from drinking this amazing and simple concoction in the morning.  Starting with increased vitality and detoxification, and because she recommends adding cayenne pepper to the the lemon water, is also stimulates your metabolism!

Be sure to use juice from a FRESH ORGANIC LEMON and not bottled lemon juice because if it’s bottled, it’s been pasteurized (boiled for long periods of time to destroy any bacteria) and you have therefore lost more than the majority of nutrients and all of the enzymes of this lovely fruit.  If you are going to implement this habit, do it right.

Please go to Food Babe’s site to read more about how and why to drink lemon water in morning.

One personal note on this is that I do add stevia to my drink because honestly, I want it to taste delicious and it was hard for me to get used to it without some sweetener.  Be sure that when you buy stevia, it is pure and not bulked up with other additives like maltodextrin.  I personally love Stevia Clear Drops.  This is a high quality product that tastes better than any other stevia I have tried.

I truly LOVE to drink a big glass of this spicy and sweet “lemonade” every day.

Try it and let us know how it goes!

And Cheers to DIYing your own good health!

  1. Instead of using stevie you should use maple syrup. Why the whole concept is to alkalize your body to the right ph. If you need to sweeten the drink maple syrup is packed with minerals and amino acids that your body needs!
