I tried doing this, and, after a month still had no difference in the vinegar. I made sure my jar had a metal lid too.
I used about 1/2 water n 1/2 apple cider vinegar with the wool. Also did another jar with same solution and a few rusty nails. .sat for 2 weeks before applying. …beautiful results 🙂
I also had no luck. After a month I even added more wool steel.
