The Basics Of Refinishing Are More Basic Than You Think!

If you have a fairly simple furniture refinishing project, these are the tools you will need:

• Orbital sander or sanding blocks (or both)
• Paint brush (invest in a good one!)
• primer (spray is so easy)
• paint in your chosen color
• sealant (make it LAST!)

This project in this video is with a new piece of furniture so it is good to see how easy it CAN be.

If you can do a simple makeover like this one, which you CAN, then anything more difficult would just require a bit more elbow grease, probably in the sanding department.  Then you can get into specialty paint techniques and appliqués for an even more special finished product.
