The “After” Picture of This Dining Set Is Like Night and Day!!

Whenever I think of “chalk paint” I think of typically black paint used in small areas to make a chalkboard like surface that can be written on.  I’m not crazy, right?

I am now realizing that chalkboard paint has other gifts in that it has a certain flat, matt appearance that is perfect for painting things that you want to look old.  It also is very easily distressed which falls right in line with the first thing.

Here is an example of a fantastic DIYer using it for this purpose and turning an old-fashioned dining set into a showroom piece!
