Mid-Century WALL CLOCK
sugarandcloth gives us the supply list:
Supplies:
METALLIC GOLD SPRAY PAINT
CLEAR SHELLAC SPRAY PAINT
WOOD STAIN IN EARLY AMERICAN
FOAM BRUSH FOR STAIN
SUPER GLUE
D RING HANGERS PICTURE
WIRE DRILL, SCREWS, AND DRILL BIT
Directions:
First stain the wood. While it is drying, spray the clock movement and dowel caps with the metallic spray paint.
(If you want to make this even easier, you can leave out the dowel caps completely. The clock would actually look very cool and simple without it.)
Attach the D-ring and all the hanging apparatus before you put on the clock mechanism so that it doesn’t get scratched.
Lastly, install the clock.
Hang it up and you have your masterpiece!

I have seen quite a few DIY clocks and this one is for sure my favorite. Really looks polished and has a clear mid-century style. PERFECT!
Have you ever DIYed a clock?
Thank you to sugarandcloth for this awesome tutorial and for the beautiful pics, too!
