As you can see, she used white shutters, but why not use wood or colors, too? Whatever your home calls for, you can customize this idea to suit your room and your taste.
I wondered myself where would I find a large quantity of old shutters (now that I think of it, there were a ton of them in the garage of our house when we moved in but those are long gone). I googled “used shutters” and tons of resources came up so there is no shortage of materials here.
This is a great project that would add charm and warmth to any room!
