She Used These Old Yardsticks To Give So Much Charm To A Simple Household Item!

First, they built simple step stools:

Then they painted them.  After cutting down the yardsticks to size, they used wood glue to fix them to the stools and left them–weighted down–overnight.

Lastly, and as an afterthought, the yardsticks got stained and sealed for a richer finish.

So cool looking!
