It's WISE to DIY: Thrify Ideas for the Do-It-Yourselfer

After This Peg Board Gets Painted, It DOESN’T Go In The Garage–But Where It DOES Go? GENIUS!!

These three “small kitchen” ideas are BRILLIANT!

  1.  WINDOW “SHELF” BAR

In a kitchen that is too small for even a small table and chairs, simply install a shelf by the window and get a couple of barstools that can fit snuggly underneath.  Every meal will feel like a trip to your favorite cafe and the view–the best in the house.

2.  PEGBOARD WALL STORAGE ORGANIZER

When drawer and cabinet space is at a premium, a big slab of pegboard on any spare wall will create tons of storage for pots, pans and utensils.
There may not be any room for another cabinet, but who needs one when you can keep all your cooking supplies out in clear view, perfectly organized and easy to grab. I love the informal, industrial look of this!  More deets here.

3.  SLIDING SPICE and CAN RACK

Who knew that the tiny area next to the fridge could be so completely utilized!  This simple sliding rack on castors will give you lots of additional shelf space and easy access, as well.  See the tutorial here.
